Odis Darby Ayers

Mr. Odis Darby Ayers, 83, of Stonebridge Rd., Carnesville, GA passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018 at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia, GA.

Mr. Ayers was born March 19, 1935 in Elberton, GA to William Tommy Ayers and Myrtie Ertzberger Ayers. He was a retired welder and was a U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by his children: Chris Ayers, David Ayers, Dawn Shaw, Jason Ayers all of Carnesville, GA, Jonathan Ayers of Seattle, WA and a sister Imogene Stapp of Homestead, FL.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother: Herburt Ayers and sister: Vasta Lee Rousey.

Memorial services to celebrate his life will be held 10AM, Saturday August 18 at Cross Roads Baptist Church in Carnesville, GA.
