Mrs. Ozelle Hendricks Hall, age 87, of 1050 Petersburg Road, formerly of Mattox Drive, Elberton, widow of Curtis H. Hall, died Saturday morning, August 20, 2011, at the Hart Care Center. Mrs. Hall was born in Madison County, September 6, 1923, daughter of the late J.B. and Etta Coile Hendricks. She was a homemaker and a member of the Elberton Christian Church. Left to cherish her memories are her son, Curtis Atkinson Jr. of Fairbanks, Alaska; sisters, Nina Black of Hartwell, Polly Parham of Comer, and Edna Tawney of Elberton; brother, Carl Hendricks of New Ellington, South Carolina; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 3PM Monday, August 22, in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home. The family is at the home of Edna Tawney, 1425 Athens Highway, Elberton, and will receive friends from 1-3PM Monday, just prior to the service at Berry Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her honor to Hart Care Center, 261 Fairview Avenue, Hartwell, Georgia 30643. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.berryfh.com.
