Patricia Rucker Drake

Mrs. Patricia Ann Rucker Drake, 63, of Elberton, wife of the late Dennis Eugene Drake, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at Elbert Memorial Hospital.

Patricia was born in Elberton on May 11, 1956, daughter of the late Billy Walker Rucker and Peggy Smith Rucker. She thoroughly enjoyed the mountains and had been a resident of Nancy Hart Nursing Center for the past six years, where she was lovingly cared for and enjoyed caring for others.

Survivors include her son, Jared Beckham of Bowman; sisters: Suzanne and Marc Libby and Melissa and Danny Hall, all of Elberton; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her step-son, Christopher Drake; and siblings: Linda Driver and Gregory Rucker.

The family will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 10:00-10:45a.m. on Saturday, November 16. Funeral services celebrating her life will follow at 11 o’clock in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Rev. Al Butler officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family is at their respective homes.
