Patti Frances Veal

Miss Patti Frances Veal, 57, of Edwards Street, Elberton, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020, at Elbert Memorial Hospital.

Patti was born in Elberton on May 20, 1963, daughter of the late Larry Furman Veal, Sr. and Mildred Frances Parham Veal. She was a graduate of Elbert County High School and attended Emmanuel College. Before becoming disabled, Patti worked as a cashier at Ray’s in Bowman and Bilo in Elberton. She had a special “green thumb” when it came to growing and nurturing plants.

Survivors include her four legged child, Pickles; brothers: Steve Veal and Maralee Ray of Bowman and Tony Veal and Laurie Lazarz of Covington; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by the love of her life and longtime companion, Larry Ingram; and brother, Larry F. Veal, Jr.

Patti will lie in state at Berry Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 29, from 12:00-5:00p.m. for those wishing to pay their respects and sign the guestbook.

Due to COVID-19, a private graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside her mother.
