Rondal "Ronnie" Booth Morrison, Sr.

Rondal Booth "Ronnie" Morrison, Sr., 74, of Elberton, entered into rest Monday, October 22, 2012, surrounded by his family. Ronnie was born February 20, 1938, to his mother, Minnie Lee Booth. He was adopted at the age of 3 by J.B. Morrison. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Maydean Willis and Marie Ashmore, one brother, Leon Morrison, and his favorite aunt, Sue "Pat" Kennedy. Ronnie is survived by his wife of 43 years, Annette Morrison of the home; five daughters, Jackie Rhodes, Patty Morrison, Sandra Gaines, Lisa Trotter, and Tracie Morrison; one son, Rondal Booth "Ron" Morrison, Jr.; aunt, Rachael Dallis of Lincolnton; nephew, Barry Chapman of Florida; and his beloved cousin, Kathy Kennedy Barnett. Ronnie had seventeen grandchildren, Dana and Armando Diego, Phillip Rhodes, Tabitha Rhodes, Kirk Rhodes, Stephanie Rhodes, Amber Fisher, Spencer Fisher, Jett Trotter, Summer Trotter, Lukas Trotter, Kayla Morrison, Trey Lester, Dylan Morrison, and Danielle Mills, all of Elberton, Marshall Fisher of Abbeville, John Page and Chris Page of Grovetown; and three great-grandchildren, Chase Fisher of Abbeville, Kayleigh Rhodes and Mason Rhodes, both of Elberton; and a special family friend, Kevin Sutherland of the home. Memorial services celebrating his life will be held at 1PM Saturday, October 27, in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home. Ronnie's wishes were to be cremated. The family is at the residence, 2407 Athens Highway, Elberton, and will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 7-9PM Wednesday, October 24. Flowers are optional and memorials may be made in his honor to the charity of one's choice. Berry Funeral Home & Crematory, Elberton, is respectfully in charge of arrangements for Rondal Booth "Ronnie" Morrison, Sr.
