Ronnie Frost Mooney

Mr. Ronnie Frost Mooney, 64, of Bond Drive, Elberton, husband of 12 years to Brenda Gail Bond Mooney, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2019, at his residence.

Ronnie was born in Augusta on March 13, 1955, son of the late John Uriah Mooney, Sr. and Margie Louise Smith Mooney. He was a polisher in the granite industry having worked at AGM Granite Memorials and a member of New Bethel United Methodist Church. "Papa" enjoyed hunting and fishing, and loved spending time with his grandkids.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda; children: Ronald and Heather Mooney of Elberton and Jamie and Antoine Riddick of Fairbanks, Alaska; step-sons: Chris and Natasha Johnson of Hartwell and Robbie and Cortney Johnson of Anderson, South Carolina; grandchildren: ShyAnne Johnson, Olivia Johnson, Xavier Johnson, J.J. Mooney, J.T. Mooney, Kelsi Burke, Khloe Riddick, and Kaisi Riddick; great-grandson, Kingston Johnson; brothers: Fred and Julie Mooney of Swainsboro, Billy and Edna Mooney of Waynesboro, and Robert Mooney of Tallapoosa; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death brother, John U. Mooney, Jr. and his parents-in-law, Pete and Georgia Bond.

The family will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00p.m. on Thursday, December 19.
