Mr. Charles Ronald "Ronnie" Johnson, 58, of E. Savannah Street, Calhoun Falls, SC, husband of 19 years to Sharon Vickery Johnson, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2014, at his residence. Ronnie was born in Elbert County on December 3, 1955, to the late Charles T. "Bo" and Rosemary Haynie Johnson. He was a member of Woodlawn United Methodist Church and the Superintendent at North Georgia Blue Quarries, Inc. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Vickery Johnson of the home; son, Robert Matthew Johnson and Jennifer of Greenwood, SC; granddaughter, Madison Noel Johnson; sister, Kathy Dye and Milton of Elberton; parents-in-law, Jimmy and Rebecca Vickery of Dewy Rose; siblings-in-law: Debbie and Randal Shirley and Kevin and Monica Vickery; nephews and nieces: Bobby, Tina, Brayden, and Elizabeth Bell, Josh, Stephanie, and Ellie Simmons, and Ethan and Macie Shirley; uncles and aunts: Marie "MaE" Haynie, Libby and Amos Partain, Doug and Juanita Johnson, Hilda and John Fleming, Margaret "Peachy" Johnson, and Fan Johnson; and special family friend, Lisa Higginbotham. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents: Robert and Inez Haynie and Herbert and Kathleen Johnson; and lifelong best friend, Eric Higginbotham. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held on Wednesday, October 15, at 6:00p.m. in the Calhoun Falls Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Tim Adams officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 5:00p.m. to lie instate until the service hour. At his request, Ronnie will be cremated following the service. The family is at the residence in Calhoun Falls and will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00p.m. on Tuesday evening. The following gentleman will serve as honorary pallbearers and are asked to assemble at the church by 5:30p.m. on Wednesday: Adam Higginbotham, Eddy Higginbotham, Vince Bass, Greg Bunch, Timmy Haynie, David Giannoni, Joey Roberts, Kevin Vickery, Ricky Johnson, Ethan Shirley, Josh Simmons, Bobby Bell, Lynn Lee, Arnold Jaudon, Ford Hughley, Tim Hughley, and Bob Durham.
