Ruby Couch Looney

Mrs. Ruby Elsie Couch Looney, 75, of Colbert, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2016, at her residence.

She was a Certified Nursing Assistance having worked at Cobb Healthcare Center and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors are her husband, Grady Looney; daughter, Tracey Howard and her husband John; siblings: Lonnie Couch of Colbert, Billy Hughes of Athens, Shirley Coker of Athens, Danny Joe Hughes of Hull, and Jerry “TB” Hughes of Commerce.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Homer Lee Couch and Lena Mae Gillen Couch; and siblings: Emma Mae Tuttle and Larry “Sonny” Couch.

The family will receive friends Monday evening, October 24, from 6:00-8:00p.m. at Berry Funeral Home in Elberton. Cremation will follow and inurnment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.

Memorial services to celebrate her life will be held at 7PM on Wednesday, November 2, at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Comer, GA.
