Sammy O'Dillon

Mr. James Edward "Sammy" O'Dillon, 77, of Hull, husband of 57 years to Mary Frances Moon O'Dillon, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2015, at his residence. Mr. O'Dillon was born in Oconee County on July 26, 1937, to the late J.W. and Bessie Watson O'Dillon. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, a retired brick mason, and of the Baptist faith. Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Mary Frances Moon O'Dillon of the home; children: Timothy Edward O'Dillon of Hull and Teresa Paulett O'Dillon Anglin and her husband Steve of Royston; grandchildren: Timothy Tyler O'Dillon and Mary Elizabeth Anglin; and siblings: Elizabeth Faye Bates and her husband James of Hull, Sherlyn Tate of Whitehall, and Keith Aaron O'Dillon of Watkinsville. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandson, Steven Brian Anglin. Mr. O'Dillon wished to be cremated and no services held.
