Miss Shirley Joyce Harper, 74, of Elberton, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021, at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospice.

Miss Harper was born in Elbert County on November 25, 1946, daughter of the late Harry Clark Harper and Bobbie Lee Webb Harper, and was also preceded in death by her sister, Jackie Elaine Harper. She was a graduate of Elbert County High School and a retired clothing salesperson having worked at the family business, Hill & Harper, on the square in Elberton. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Elberton.

Survivors include a special cousin and caretaker Mike Webb and his wife Glenda.

Joyce will lie instate at Berry Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 13 from 9:00a.m.-5:00p.m. for those wishing to pay their respects and sign the guestbook. Due to COVID-19, a private graveside service will be held in Forest Hills Memorial Park with the Rev. Gary Purvis officiating.

Memorials may be made in her memory to T.J. & Friends Foundation or to Elbert County Senior Citizen Center.
