Shirley Mincey Mcclure

Mrs. Shirley Mincey McClure, 66, of Ruckersville Road, Elberton, Georgia widow of the late William Ellis McClure passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Born December 20m 1946 in Elberton, Georgia to the late Harry Herbert Mincey, Sr. and Evelyn Inez Terrell Mincey. She was of the Baptist Faith and was a retired dietary from the Gables Assisted Living in Royston. Left to cherish her memories are her children Gregory Scott Floyd, Sr. of Elberton, GA; Jefferey Wayne Floyd of Dewy Rose, GA; and Stacey Floyd York of Hartwell, GA; step-children Timothy McClure and Mark McClure of Franklin, NC; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by brothers Harry Herbert Mincey, Jr. and Winford Clyde Mincey. Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held 2PM, Saturday November 30 in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Joey Pless officiating. Inurment will follow in Franklin, North Carolina. The family will be at the home of Stacey Floyd York 447 Speedway Road, Hartwell, Georgia and will receive friends from 12:30-2PM just prior to the service at Berry Funeral Home.
