Stanley Erwin Kennedy

Mr. Stanley Erwin Kennedy, 68, of Bowman Hwy. Dewy Rose, GA passed away Sunday, July 24, 2016 at his home.

Mr. Kennedy was born July 14, 1948 in Franklin County, GA to the late Norman Yewell Kennedy and Mae Belle Sewell Kennedy. He was a member of Hunters Creek Baptist Church in Toccoa and worked in construction and was a painter.

Survivors include two grandchildren Alex and Bailey Kennedy and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sons Bobby Kennedy and Stephen Kennedy; brothers John Kennedy and Marion Kennedy; and four sisters Betty Saylors, Carolyn McCurley, Nell Fuller and Frances McKern.

Funeral services to celebrate his life will be held 2PM, Tuesday, July 26 at Hunters Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Clifford Shepherd officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2PM just prior to the service at Hunters Creek Baptist Church. Internment will follow in Hunters Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
