Teresa Davis

Mrs. Betty Teresa Davis, 54, of Elberton, departed this life on Friday, October 1, 2021, at her residence.

Teresa was a member of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Elberton, GA. She attended the Elbert County Comprehensive High School. Teresa worked as a CNA for many years.

She was born July 13, 1967 in Elberton, GA to L.M. and Carrie Mae Davis.

She is survived by her husband, William Rucker of Elberton, GA; 2 sons, Daryl Hood Jr. and Cortez Hood of Elberton, GA; 2 sisters, Betty (Loyalty) Turman and Elaine (Jim Tom) Heard of Elberton, GA; 6 brothers, Jimmy Browner, L.M. (Laura) Browner, Michael (Lucinda) Browner, Lee (Joshalyn) Browner, Mitchell Davis, and Terry Davis of Elberton, GA, 4 grandchildren, Dmya Hood of Athens, GA, Carlisa Hood of Toccoa, GA, Trayden Martin of Toccoa, GA, and Daryl Hood III of Royston, GA; a very special nephew, Brian Turman of Elberton, GA, and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, George Smith and Freddie Browner and sister Carrie Turman.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 9, at 2 o'clock at the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home.
