Teresa Lynn Scales Bryant

Teresa Lynn Scales Bryant, 56, of Royston and formerly of Elberton, passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2018, at her residence.

Teresa was born in Elberton on August 17, 1961, daughter of the late Robert Julian “Bobby” Scales and Addie Lou Pace Scales. She worked most of her life in healthcare and enjoyed taking care of others. She was of the Pentecostal faith and an avid dog lover.

She is survived by her sons: Robert Chad Souther of Royston and William Shane Souther of Elberton; brother, Larry and Judy Scales of Anderson; and grandchildren: Kaylee Carter, Laila Souther, Hannah Major, and Bailey Major.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Bryant; and brother, Ronnie Scales.

Memorial services celebrating her life will be held on Sunday, June 10, at 3 o’clock in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Rev. Stacy Lynch officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 2 o’clock just prior to the service on Sunday.
