Tina Wood Holmes

Cathy Christine Ruth "Tina" Wood Holmes, 40, of 1130 B. Bailey Road, Hartwell, died Friday, September 30, 2011, at her residence. Mrs. Holmes was born in Anderson, South Carolina, December 14, 1970, daughter of Bertha Ada Ayers of Hartwell and the late Stanley Paris Wood. Left to cherish her memories are her mother; husband, Johnny R. Holmes; sons, Michael Lee Dooley, David Nathaniel Terrell, and Austin Rhyan Holmes, all of Hartwell; sisters, Cheryl Maxwell Morris of Hartwell, Kim Maxwell Head of of Martin, Stanelle Wood Voss of Oklahoma, and Cynthia Jean Campbell of Royston. Memorial services celebrating her life will be held at 4PM Sunday, October 2, at the River of Life Church, 3966 Elberton Highway in Hartwell with Pastor Ken Buffington, Minister Vince Head, and Pastor Johnny Stowe officiating. The family is at the home of her sister, Cheryl Morris, 4930 Reed Creek Highway, Hartwell, and will receive friends from 2-4PM just prior to the service at the church.
