Ms. Traci Lynn Rousey, 43, of Lloyd Rousey Road, Bowman, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at her residence.

Traci was born in Elberton on December 29, 1974, daughter of Bobby Joe Rousey and Barbara Ann Dye Rousey. She worked as a nurse as long as her health permitted and was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church where she worked in the children’s ministry for many years. She enjoyed coloring and painting. An avid sports fan, Traci loved watching Braves Baseball and Georgia football with her Daddy.

Survivors include her parents, Bobby and Barbara Rousey; brother, Jeffery Lloyd Rousey and his wife Angela Kay Rousey; nieces: Melody Rousey Anderson and her husband Riley and Emilee Rousey; great niece and nephews: Nova Rousey and Gavin Anderson; and countless friends and extended family members.

The service celebrating Traci’s homegoing will be held on Saturday, August 18, at 11 o’clock at Rehoboth Baptist Church with the Revs. Tommy Brown and Michael Marcengill officiating.

The family is at the residence and will greet friends immediately following the service.
