Rev. Virgil Norman Suttles, 69, of Athens Hwy., Elberton, GA passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.

Rev. Suttles was born January 27, 1948 in Elberton, GA to Dallas Norman Suttles and Addie Grace Conwell Suttles. He was a member of Crossover Community Church in Anderson, SC and was a Pastor and Missionary.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years: Patsy Bell Suttles; son: Michael Paul Suttles of Athens, GA; daughter and son-in-law: Kelli and Allen McConnell of Anderson, SC; brother and sister-in-law: Marshall and Susan Suttles of Elberton, GA; sister and brother-in-law: Cindy and Terry Sutton of Myrtle Beach, SC; grandchildren: Alyssa Grace McConnell, Elijah "Eli" Allen McConnell; nieces and nephews: Mark Sutton, Julie Burgess, Jennifer Knopp, Jaime Drake and Ben Suttles.

Memorial services to celebrate Virgil's life will be held 3PM, Sunday, December 3, at Northside Baptist Church with Rev. Dwight Morgan, Rev. Gary Purvis, Rev. Jack McVeigh and Rev. David McConnell officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-3PM just before the service at Northside Baptist Church. Honorary pallbearers will be the Haiti Work Team.

Flowers are optional and memorials can be made in Virgil's memory to Crossover Community Church Missions Possible, PO Box 2492 Anderson, SC 29624.
