Walter E. Parthun

Mr. Walter E. Parthun, 96, of Carlton, GA passed away Monday, July 11, 2016 at Quiet Oaks Health Care Center in Crawford, GA.

Mr. Parthun was born October 3, 1919 in LaPorte, IN to the late Edward Parthun and Mae Lowe Parthun. He was a WWII veteran where he served in the U.S. Army and was retired from Whirlpool.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Kenneth and Anita Parthun of Carlton, GA; daughter Cathy Parthun of Nobelsville, IN; sister Dorothy Gregory of South Bend, IN; grandchildren Christopher Parthun, Joel Parthun, Timothy Parthun, Melissa Crawford, Laura Tyner; and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside memorial services to celebrate his life will be held at a later date at Pine Lake Cemetery in LaPorte, Indiana.

Berry Funeral Home & Crematory of Elberton is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Walter E. Parthun.
