William Clayton Booker, Jr.

Mr. William Clayton Booker, Jr., 77, of Gresham Park Road, Lincolnton, husband of the late Suzanne McIntire Booker, died on Friday, June 26, 2015, at The Oaks in Athens. Mr. Booker was born in Reidsville, NC on April 17, 1938, to the late William Clayton, Sr. and Bronna Sharpe Booker. He was a retired courier and of the Baptist faith. Left to cherish his memories are his children: William Clayton "Rusty" Booker, III, Randy Booker, Brandon Booker, Logan Booker, Robin Brown, Vonda Jeffries, Tonya Auerbach, and Amber-Leigh Schiavone; brothers: Dan Booker and John Booker; and several grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wive, he is preceded in death by his brother, Steve Booker. Memorial services celebrating his life will be held at a later date.
