Willie Gene Bryant

Mr. Willie Gene Bryant, 73, of Brewers Bridge Road, Elberton, husband of Rosie Grimes Bryant, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2020, at PruittHealth at Spring Valley.

Mr. Bryant was born in Hartwell on June 22, 1947, son of the late Gene and Alberta Bryant, and was reared in the home of the late Tom and Lillian Rucker. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Willie Gene was employed at Keystone Granite Memorials and worked in pulpwood for many years. He will be most remembered for his sense of humor and ability to make you smile and laugh.

Survivors include his wife, Rosie; two children: Terri Latoya Bryant and Willie Dynell Bryant and his wife Ranee, both of Elberton; four grandchildren: JoQuisha Allen, Jamarcus Allen, DyQuavion Bryant, and Chelsea Harper; two great-grandchildren: La’Anya Adams and Emberlynn Allen; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Funeral services celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, September 26, at 2 o'clock in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family is at the residence and will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00p.m. on Friday, September 25.
