Zola Mae Bradford Rucker Howard

Mrs. Zola Mae Bradford Rucker Howard, 78, of Elberton, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.

Zola Mae was born in Elbert County on May 1, 1942, daughter of the late Nick Bradford, Sr. and Dora Huling Bradford. She was retired from Landmark Granite Company and a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Denise Clark; siblings: Hattie Bradford, Lenora DuBose, and Addie Ree Heard; grandchildren: Kyna and Randy Harper, Neal Clark, Jr., and Shannon Clark; great-grandchildren: Jamaya Harper, Jordyn Harper, Justice Wilkins, Tristan Clark, DJ Hill, and Avery Clark; step-children: Tina Bolds, Gregory Howard, Carlos Howard, and Laura Graham; special nieces: Pamela Allen, Marjorie Umble, Zoe’ Harris, Tabitha Rambert, and Emma Jean Pittard; and numerous other nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Cadmus Rucker; and siblings: Willie Ed Bradford, Darlene Clark, Annie Sue Burton, Nick Bradford, Jr., Sammy Lee Bradford, and Emma Dora Heard.

Funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Wednesday, November 4, at 1 o’clock in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 6:00-7:00pm. on Tuesday, November 3.
