Alvin Gordon "Bubba" Christian, Jr.

Mr. Alvin Gordon “Bubba” Christian, Jr., age 66, passed away on November 23, 2025, at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital, after a battle with cancer, surrounded by his family and close friends.

A native of Elberton, GA, he was the son of the late Alvin Gordon Christian, Sr., and Rosa Reeves Christian.

He is survived by his significant other, Wanda Evans; his children, Kayla (Byron) Snellings and Breanna (Johnathan) Evans; his siblings, Rod Christian, Mandy Madden and Derrick Christian; and his grandchildren, Brandt, Kate, and Ella Snellings, and Ayden and Michael Evans.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at 2 pm in the Berry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Byron Snellings officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1PM to 2PM just prior to the service at Berry Funeral Home.
