April Ellerbee

April Melissa Ellerbee, age 48, of Comer, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023 following a long time battle with seizures. 

April was born in Athens and became an RN- working in Oglethorpe and Elbert Counties before becoming disabled. 

April is survived by her husband, Jeremy Ellerbee; step children, Addison Ellerbee and Leland Ellerbee; mother in law, Kathy Ellerbee; niece, Shelby Ellerbee; and nephew, James Ellerbee.  She is survived by numerous other family members and friends.

A loving and selfless person, it was no surprise that April made the decision before her death to become a donor.  One tissue donor can improve the lives of more than 70 recipients; and her legacy of generosity will continue to live on beyond her death.  

Interment will be private.
