Bobby Joe “B.J.” Whitehead of Loganville, Ga passed away on Thursday, March 19th, 2026 after his 6 year battle with cancer.
A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, March 27, 2026 in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Grey officiating. The family will receive friends 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM prior to the service.
Mr. Whitehead was born in Athens, GA on August 28th, 1959. He is survived by his mother Evie Lee Whitehead and predeceased by his father Bobby Ray Whitehead, both of Elberton, GA. He was a man of courage, strength, love, and laughter. Always so full of life until his last day. B.J. enjoyed playing golf, singing karaoke, and spending time with his family. He loved meeting new people and making everyone laugh with his many Dad Jokes. He worked in HVAC and maintenance for 40+ years; he loved learning how things work and figuring out how to fix them.
He spent the last few years of his life dedicated to making lasting memories with his wife, children, and grandkids. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 23 years, Pagie Whitehead of Loganville, GA; 4 children, Nikki Trant (Ben Trant) of Conway, SC, Jaime Clardy (Bryan Clardy) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Misti Crowder (Will Hows) of Franklin, TN, and Robbie Nash (Brianna Nash) of Braselton, GA; 9 grandchildren, Cohan, Lanie, Robbie, Cooper, Alyssa, Raegan, Angelica, Brayden, and Cadie; 1 sister, Brenda Baugh (David Baugh) of Elberton, GA; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in B.J.’s honor to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
