Brenda Elizabeth Hamby Shankle

Mrs. Brenda Elizabeth Hamby Shankle, 76, of Westminster, SC, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at Nancy Hart Nursing Center in Elberton, GA.

Mrs. Shankle was born in Seneca, SC on February 28, 1946, daughter of the late Johnny Turel Hamby and Ruth Virginia Watson Hamby. A devoted school teacher, Brenda enjoyed working at her antique store in West Union, SC following her retirement. She was also a devoted international missionary who spent a lot of her time working in Jamaica where she was instrumental in the founding of a school.

She is survived by her husband, Howard Shankle and son, Braxton Shankle, both of SC.
