Mrs. Brenda Jean Warenfelt Patten, 72, of Hewell Road, Dewy Rose, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.
Brenda was born in Lebanon, Oregon on August 16, 1949, daughter of the late Mark Wendall Warenfelt and Clema Jane Shaw Warenfelt. She was a member of Bowman Baptist Church and retired from Walmart of Elberton as receiving clerk after 25 years of service. Affectionately known as “Grammie” to her family, she was an excellent cook and an avid fan of both the Atlanta Braves and Willie Nelson.
She is survived by her companion, Joe Roe; children and their spouses: Thomas ‘Bray’ Booth, Jr. of Bowman, Melissa Jane Booth Brady and Heath of Dewy Rose, and Gregory Allen Booth and Bethany of Bowman; grandchildren: Boston and Miranda Black, Eli Goff, Elizabeth Brady, Thomas Brady, Emily Booth, and Hannah Brady; great-grandchild, Camden Black; siblings: Sherry Jarman, Roberta and Bill Kincaid, and Steve and Marty Warenfelt; and numerous nephews, nieces, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Phil Warenfelt.
Memorial services celebrating her life will be held on Friday, January 21, at 3 o’clock in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Rev. Troy Ayers officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Bowman.
The family is at the residence of Heath and Melissa Brady, 1768 Oak Springs Drive, Dewy Rose, and will receive friends on Friday from 2:00-2:45p.m at Berry Funeral Home.
