Born April 21, 2010, in Athens, Georgia, to Aylisha Walker and Richard Lee Johnson. Brystol brought light and joy into the world from the very beginning. On Sunday, December 7, 2025, she departed this life at her home, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter far beyond her years.
Though her time with us was brief, Brystol lived every moment with energy, grace, and a gentle spirit that touched everyone she met. She embraced life wholeheartedly, dancing with joy, trying her hand at every sport with determination and courage, never afraid to give her best even when the odds were against her. Her heart overflowed with kindness; she had a special gift for caring for children and elders, and she delighted in spreading joy wherever she went. Brystol’s faith was the cornerstone of her life. She loved God deeply and cherished her church family at Ephesus Baptist Church. Among her favorite songs was How Great Is Our God, and her treasured verse was Psalm 139:14: “I will praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well.”
Left to remember her joyful smile and the love she shared with all who knew her, Brystol is survived by her parents, Aylisha Walker of Forest, MS, and Richard Lee Johnson (Shyrl) of Elberton, GA; siblings, Candice Johnson of Elberton, GA, Wade Johnson (Brittany) of Hartwell, GA, Clay Johnson (Kim) of Danielsville, GA, Brendan Johnson (Taylor) of Tignall, GA, Walker Johnson of Forest, MS, Gator Johnson of Forest, MS; grandparents, Beverly Victoria Walker and William Lee Walker, both of Forest, MS, Kay Johnson of Elberton, GA; nephews Easton Crawford, Gatlin Brown, Bentley “Pete” Johnson; aunt, Roxann Walker; cousins, Zach Harville (Doctor Ali Pike), Michael Harville; and countless other loving family members and friends.
