Candace Paige "Candy" Burrows

Miss Candace Paige "Candy" Burrows, 33, of Fork Creek Road, Bowman, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Elbert Memorial Hospital. 

Candy was born in Elberton on July 3, 1992, daughter of Anthony Todd Burrows and Rachel Lester Burrows. She worked at Bojangles. 

In addition to her father of Bowman and mother of Elberton, she is survived by her step-mother, Teresa Ann Burrows of Bowman; sons: Logan George Burrows and Anthony Jeremiah Burrows of Elberton; brother, Anthony Todd "Tony" Burrows, Jr.; step-brother, Colby Dwayne Brown; grandmother, Brenda Burrows; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Candy is preceded in death by her step-brother, Jeffery Ray James; and grandparents: Rosie Lee Baxter, Morris Eugene Lester, Sr., and Richard Dale Burrows. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
