Mrs. Carole Elaine Cape Callaway, 70, of Bowman, GA passed away on Monday, November 14, 2022, at her home.

Mrs. Callaway was born in Royston, GA on November 25, 1951, daughter of the late Lonnie E. Cape and the late Helen Royston Cape. She was a school bus driver for the Elbert County School System and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Bowman.

Survivors include her husband, Sidney Callaway; son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Jamie and Jill Callaway of Dewy Rose, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Jenny and Art Lane of Bowman, GA; grandchildren, Easton Callaway and Emily Grace Callaway; and sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Gayle Fields of Royston, GA.

Funeral services for Mrs. Callaway will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, in the Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Jamie Callaway, Rev. Josh Gibson and Rev. David Kite officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Bowman, GA.

The family will receive friends at Faith Baptist Church from 1:00 p.m. until funeral hour on Wednesday afternoon. During other times the family will be at the home.
