Along with her husband, Bert, Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, John Chandler Fortson and Annie Ruth Parham Fortson; and siblings: Marion Fortson, Don Fortson, Wayne Fortson, Jack Fortson, Annie Lou Cornell, and Johnnie Brodeur.
