Mrs. Charisse Michelle “Sherry” Nix Moore, 67, of Cherokee Dr. Bowman, GA passed away Friday, October 13, 2023 at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Mrs. Moore was born August 16, 1956 in Germany to Billy Charles Nix and Mary Ann Holland Stadler. She was of the Catholic faith and worked at Food Lion in Royston. 

She is survived by her husband: Russell “Rusty” Moore; sisters: Debra Allen of New Braunfels, TX, Pam Walden of Augusta, GA, Vanessa Tudor of Thomson, GA, Tara Herndon of Appling, GA, Jill Johnson of Warrenton, GA; brother: Butch Stadler of Thomson, GA and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her step-son: Brandon Moore and step-father Joseph Stadler.

A visitation will be held from 5PM to 7PM Wednesday October 18, 2023 at Berry Funeral Home and a private memorial service to celebrate Sherry’s life will be held at a later date.

The family are at their respective homes.

Flowers are optional and memorials can be made in her memory to Granite Country Animal Partners, 4928 Elberton Hwy., Hartwell, GA 30643 or to Elbert County Humane Society, P.O. Box 267, Elberton, GA 30635.
