Charles Edward Seagraves

Mr. Charles Edward Seagraves, of Harve Mathis Rd., Athens, GA passed away Monday, June 16, 2025 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.

Mr. Seagraves was born September 18, 1952 in Athens, GA to Robert Seagraves and Jennie Ree Benedict. He was retired foreman from the University of Georgia where he enjoyed working 30 plus years. He was a avid outdoors where he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by a daughter: Melissa Crouch, siblings: Billy Seagraves, Ricky Seagraves, Bobby Seagraves, Linda Tweedell; a number of grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and his wife of 25 years Joann.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Charles Jeffrey Seagraves and siblings: Hazel Cartey and Johnny Seagraves.

Memorial services to celebrate his life are planned for 10AM, Saturday, July 12, 2025 graveside at Evergreen Memorial Park in Athens, GA. Family and friends are invited.
