Christopher David "Chris" Bell

Mr. Christopher David “Chris” Bell, age 53, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at Comer Health & Rehab.

A native of Elberton, Chris was the son of Carol ‘Elaine’ Evans Bell and the late David Brannon Bell. He worked as a burner operator at Crystal Blue Quarry and was a member of Doves Creek Baptist Church. An avid outdoorsman, Chris enjoyed coon hunting, fishing, and working on old cars.

Survivors, in addition to his mother Elaine, are siblings; Lynne (Henry “Scooter” Jr.) Holsenback and Josh Bell; niece, Kayla (Lucas) Childs; and nephew, Ryan Holsenback.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 11:00a.m. in the Berry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Eric Lovin officiating. Burial will be in the Doves Creek Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10-11am prior to the service.
