Connie Sybil Owens
Ms. Connie Sybil Owens, 67, passed away Monday, April 27, 2026 at Nancy Hart Nursing Home.
Ms. Owens was born in Elberton, GA on May 7, 1958 to Jim Owens, Sr. and Joann Perry Neave. She was a retired seamstress in the textile industry.
She is survived by her son Chance Gaines; daughter and son-in-law: Michelle and Tony Stovall; sisters: Wanda Owens, Susan Eilertson, Kim Owens Jones, Gina Owens Nixon, and brothers: Jerret Hill, James H. Owens (Pedro) and Nathan Owens.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother James Owens, Jr.
Memorial services to celebrate her life will be held 11AM, Saturday, May 2 at New Town Baptist Church with Rev. John Guest officiating.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6PM to 8PM Friday night at Berry Funeral Home.
Berry Funeral Home and Crematory of Elberton is in charge of the funeral arrangements for Ms. Connie Sybil Owens.
