Cynthia Fortson

Cynthia Fortson, age 63, passed away on December 15, 2025. A native of Elberton, GA., Cynthia was the daughter of the late Leroy Fortson, Sr. and Geneva Walton Fortson.

Survivors include her children; Angel Ogletree, Allison Ogletree, Adriana Medina, Abril Medina; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; sister; Linda Rucker and a host of nieces and nephews.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her siblings Leroy Fortson, Jr., Donald Fortson, George Fortson and Kenneth Fortson.

A memorial service will be held in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home on Sunday December 21, 2025 at 2pm.

Berry Funeral Home & Crematory, Elberton, has charge of arrangements.
