Daniel Norbert Schroeder, 63 of Parker, FL, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 2, 2025. He was born in Wausau, WI. on April 26, 1962.
He graduated from Wausau East High School with the Class of 1980. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force at Tyndall AFB from 1982 to 1986. A dedicated lifelong learner, he went on to earn his Doctorate of Theology from Gulf Coast Seminary as well as a degree in Fire Science from Gulf Coast College.
He faithfully served as the Associate Pastor and Minister of Music at Freedom Celebration Family Church, using his gifts to uplift and encourage others. His heart for service extended far beyond the church—he assisted in raising and delivering support to firefighters in New York following the tragedy of 9/11. He devoted 31 and a half years to the Callaway Fire Department as a Firefighter and EMT, serving his community with courage, commitment, and compassion.
He was a gifted songwriter and musician who played by ear, and he found joy in composing music that touched the hearts of many. He also enjoyed flying drones and contributed his skills to drone operations following Hurricane Michael.
Above all, he loved serving his Lord. His devotion was evident in every part of his life, especially in the way he faithfully ministered to others through online communion and encouragement on Facebook. His legacy of service, faith, and love will continue to inspire all who knew him.
Daniel is preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen Landreville; father-in-law, Marvin “Coot” Higginbotham; mother-in-law, Gloria Hendon; Donald Bettis; and sister-in-law, Marvine H. Brown.

He is also lovingly remembered by his father, Richard Schroeder (Karen) of Moyock, NC; his mother-in-law, Charlotte Higginbotham, of Elberton, GA, and step-father-in-law, Henry Hendon.
