David Arthur Haggstrom

Mr. David Arthur “Dave” Haggstrom, 67, of Green Acres Road, Rock Branch Community, Elberton, husband of 40 years to Teresa Shaver Haggstrom, passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at his residence.

Dave was born in Portland, Oregon on March 18, 1954, son of the late Harold David Haggstrom and Evelyn Irene Seigal Haggstrom. He was of the Pentecostal faith and a U.S. Army Veteran. Dave and his wife Teresa were the owners/operators of D&T Granite Trucking and he had previously worked at Coggins Granite Company as a heavy machine operator. He enjoyed naturing, hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles.

Survivors, in addition to his wife Teresa, include a special niece, Tamara Shaver of Elberton; sisters: Sharrell Kinser of Elberton and Theresa Seals of Golden Valley, Arizona; and numerous other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings: Claudine Haggstrom, Claudell Haggstrom, and Valerie Jo Crawford.

Funeral services celebrating his life will be held on Sunday, June 6, at 2 o’clock at Assembly Church of Hartwell with the Rev. Roland Molina officiating.

The family is at the residence and will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service on Sunday.
