David Wayne Hall

Mr. David Wayne Hall, 62, of Ken Norris Rd., Canon, GA passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at his home.

Mr. Hall was born July 9, 1954 in Portsmouth, VA to Dorpheus "Doc" Clinton Hall and Essie Mae Smith Hall. He was of the Baptist Faith, a retired truck driver and served his country in the U.S. Army as a drill sergeant.

Survivors include his children Melissa Hall Cheek of Canon, GA; Matthew Hall of Jasper, GA; brother Paul Hall of Canon, GA; sister Joyce Hart of Waverly Hall, GA; grandchildren Nathan Cheek, Haley Cheek, Benson Cheek, Austin Estes, Alex Estes, Braydon Chance Hall, Maelynn Dowell and great-grandson Connor Cheek.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son; Timothy Wayne Hall, sisters; Marie Darr, June Patterson and a granddaughter Crissa Cheek.

Private memorial services will be held later in Alabama.
