Debbie Berryman

Debbie Berryman, age 72, passed away Friday, May 5, 2023.

Debbie was born in Elberton where she was a member of First Baptist Church Elberton.  She was a selfless caretaker who loved mankind and animals alike.  Her love for others was witnessed through her countless years working as a CNA in facilities such as Hart Care Center; and no one could deny her love for her four legged companions. In her earlier years, she attended Massey College of Business in Atlanta and she enjoyed working alongside her father at Star Cleaners.  

She was preceded in death by her father, William Martin Berryman, Jr.; brother, Bill Berryman; and nephew, Steven Berryman.

She is survived by her mother, Dot Berryman of Elberton; sister, Sandy Berryman of Elberton; brother, Steve Berryman (Zelia) of Marietta; sister in law, Elvera Berryman of Colorado; nieces and nephew, Solely Kanouff (Jerry), Ilona Kokorus, and Evgeny Belyy; and great niece and great nephew, Kiljan and Brynja.

A graveside service will take place at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 10, 2023 in Forest Hills Memorial Park with close family friend, Reverend Gary Purvis officiating.
