Della Mae Wooten Vaughn

Mrs. Della Mae Wooten Vaughn, 80, of Glover Street, Canon, wife of the late Wilbur Vaughn, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2016, at Athens Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Vaughn was born in Appling, GA on March 30, 1936, to the late Richard and Katie Roberts Wooten. She was a homemaker and attended Canon Church of God.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Martha Lynn Goins of Canon; siblings: Sara Hobbs of Bowman, Lelas Wooten of Hartwell, Willie Wooten of Commerce, and Wofford Wooten of Canon; grandchildren: Nicholas Goins, Dakota Goins, and Katie Goins, all of Canon; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
