Derrick Keith Mckern

Mr. Derrick 'Keith' McKern, 60, of Jackson Bridge Road, Carnesville, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2019, at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.

He was born in Hartwell on November 20, 1959, son of the late Robert Warren McKern and Betty Ruth Bennett McKern. He was a talented musician who enjoyed playing drums.

Survivors include his son, Derrick 'Brandon' McKern of Starr, SC; companion of 10 years, Tammy Gentry of the residence; and three grandchildren: Kaden, Emalie, and Braylnn.

Burial will be private in the Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery.
