Donald William Hill

Mr. Donald William Hill, age 67, of Elberton, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at his residence. 

A native of Elberton, Donald was the son of the late Willie Thomas Hill and Ida Mae Johnson Thornton.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Beverly Jo Moon Hill; children: Chiquita (Chaio) Winn and Carla Hill; siblings: Willie Thomas Hill, Calvin Hill, Bessie (Kevin) Gartrell, and Mary (Lonnie) Saddler; brothers-in-law: Charles (Gussie) Moon and Marvin (Emma) Cleveland; grandchildren: Dakhovin Winn, Zadia Winn, Karson Rambert, Amauri Winn, Cason Eberhardt, and Nolan Brown; aunts: Shirley Davis, Janell Madden, Mammie Fairley, and Iris Browning; and a special friend, Jerry Rucker.

Donald was preceded in death by his mother, Ida Mae Johnson Thornton; father, Willie Thomas Hill; and brother, Hoke Hill.

Memorial services to celebrate his home going will be held at 1PM on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Willie Moon officiating. The family is at the residence.
