Douglas Leo Bobo

Douglas Leo Bobo, 73, of Hillcrest Avenue, Elberton, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2013, at Athens Regional Medical Center. Mr. Bobo was born in Elbert County, April 21, 1940, to the late Leo and Jewell Townsend Bobo and was a retired truck driver. Left to cherish his memories are his children, Lisa Phillips and her husband David and Steve Bobo, all of Elberton; sister, Charlotte Webb of Elberton; and three grandchildren. Graveside services celebrating his life will be held at 4:00p.m. Sunday, August 4, in Elmhurst Cemetery with the Rev. David McConnell officiating. The Bobo family will receive friends immediately following the service at the residence of David and Lisa Phillips, 2223 Harmony Road, Elberton.
