Elmer Ward Scarborough

Mr. Elmer Ward Scarborough, 91, of Elberton, GA, husband of the late Ethel Evans Scarborough, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018, at Comer Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Scarborough was born on September 7, 1927, in Elberton, GA to Henry Lawson Scarborough, Sr. and Fannie Mae Bell Scarborough. He was a retired body repairman in the automobile industry and was a U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by two sisters-in-law: Sue Smith Scarborough and Nelda Tiller Scarborough; and nephews and nieces: Johnny Scarborough, Jr., Margie Burke, Debra Bond, Sam Scarborough, and Elizabeth Edwards.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Johnny Oliver Scarborough, Sr. and his wife Jean, Thomas Stevenson Scarborough, and Henry Lawson Scarborough, Jr.; and nephew, Stanley Scarborough.

Burial will be private in Elmhurst Cemetery.
