Emily Louise Peters Kettle

Mrs. Emily Louise Peters Kettle, 78, of Wesley Chapel Road, Lexington, wife of the late Absolam Linton "Mutt" Kettle, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at her residence. 

Mrs. Kettle was born in Vada, GA on March 18, 1947, daughter of the late John Thomas Peters and Erma Olivia Landrum Peters. She was a retired deli worker. 

Surviving are her children: Robert Wilkey, Joe Wilkey, Justin Wilkey and Andrea Wright; sister, Vanida Smith; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Timmy Wilkey; and siblings: Patricia Evans, Tonya Abello, and Shirley Cagle.
