Essie Guest Boswell

Mrs. Essie Guest Boswell, age 94, of Elberton, died May 25, 2009. Mrs. Boswell was born in Hart County to the late William A. Guest and Janie Lou Sigler Guest, and she was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Hartwell.She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Crawford Otis Boswell, Sr. She is survived by her sons Crawford O. Boswell, Jr., Ronald Rousey, and Wayne Boswell; daughters Mary Haulk, Linda Quates, and Joanne Boswell; 14 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in Hicks Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, May 29, at 3:00 p.m. with Reverend Terry Meeks officiating.Interment will follow at Elmhurst Cemetery.The family will receive friends Friday, 1:30 – 3:00PM at the funeral home prior to the service.
