Evelyn Anna Van Meurs Talbot

Mrs. Evelyn Anna Van Meurs Talbot, 93, of Russell Pointe Drive, Elberton, wife of the late Thomas Talbot, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2013, at Abbeville Nursing Home in Abbeville, SC. Mrs. Talbot was born in Rochester, NY on November 6, 1920, to the late Jacob Karl Van Meurs and Anna Barbara Miller Van Meurs. She was a homemaker and of the Episcopal faith. Left to cherish her memories are her children, Thomas Neil Talbot of Elberton, Jack Thomas Talbot of Rochester, NY, James Martin Talbot of Arden, NC, and Bonnie Ellen Beechey of Rochester, NY; sister, Doris Single of Rochester, NY; ten grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
