Faith Ann White Davis

Mrs. Faith Ann White Davis, 64, of Elberton Road, Carlton, wife of Johnny Lee Johnson, Jr. went to be with the Lord suddenly on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Elbert Memorial Hospital.

Faith was born in Abbeville, SC on June 22, 1959, the only daughter and oldest child of the late Robert Clifton White and Barbara Ann Moon White. She grew up in Elberton and was much like a parent figure to her four younger brothers. Her career in the granite industry began at an early age. After working under the leadership of others for one year, Faith embarked on the journey to self-employment. Faith’s Memorial Sandblasting has been a fixture in the granite world for nearly 40 years. She took pride in her work and looked at her customers and employees as an extension of her own family.

Her athletic abilities led her to play softball for the Elbert County Crushers for many years. Faith was an adventurous person who enjoyed being outdoors camping, kayaking, and trying out the newest zip line. She was alway willing to try new things, and at the age of 56, fell in love with horses. Faith trained diligently under the guidance of Janet and Johnny Burton who taught her everything she needed to know. She would go on to compete with the National Barrel Horse Association where she won many events in her age group.

Faith’s out going personality and her ability to always put others first will never be forgotten. She loved her friends and family dearly as well as her church family at Assembly Church of Hartwell.

Survivors, in addition to her husband Johnny, include those that she considered her children: Renee Mobley (Scottie), Jason Davis, Ken Davis, Lee Johnson, Johnny Johnson, III, Amanda White, Samantha White, and Kayla Powell Farmer; brothers: David Lee White of Anderson, SC and Paul Douglas White (Crickett) of Elberton; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandmother, Ruby Lee Suttles; and brothers: Robert Daniel White and Mark William White.

The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends on Wednesday, July 26, from 6:00-9:00p.m. at Berry Funeral Home.

Funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, July 27, at 11:00a.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Pastor Roland Molina officiating. Interment will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery.

Flowers are accepted and contributions may be made in her memory to T.J. & Friends Foundation, PO Box 6161, Elberton, GA 30635.
