Fanice Boggs Bowman

Mrs. Fanice Boggs Bowman, of Elberton, GA, passed away on her 64th birthday, July 26, 1962, in Melbourne, FL.

She was born in Ermine, KY on July 26, 1962, daughter of the late Burlie Bowman and Emma Lee Boggs Bowman. She worked in house keeping at Norton Community Hospital. Fanice loved playing BINGO, fishing, and spending time at the lake and beach. Being with her family was her most favorite thing.

Surviving are her daughters: Tunja Lynn Smith of Elberton, GA, Sonya Kaye (Kevin) Honeycutt of Whitesburg, KY, and Fanice Jean Henderson of Elberton, GA; brothers: Fyrleon (Dora Ann) Bowman of Patridge, KY, and Weldon (Regina)Bowman of Putney, KY; sister, Ollie Jean Williams of Norton, VA; grandchildren: Nathan Jay and Tiffany Lynn Honeycutt of Whitesburg, KY, Partrell LaDwayne Browner, Jr. of Crestview, FL, Jadien Emily Smith of Elberton, GA, DaNaya Dashae Henderson of Elberton, GA, and Kathy LaShay Honeycutt of Whitesburg, KY; and a host of nieces, nephews, and adopted children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren whom she loved as he own.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leonard David Smith; sons: Leonard William Smith and David Lee Smith; grandson, Justin Wayne Honeycutt; and sister, Janice Louise (George) Hooper.

A celebration of Fanice’s life will held on Saturday, September 19, at 12noon at the Kingdom Come Shelter #2, in Cumberland, KY with Brother Jimmy Hubbard officiating.
