Florence Lee Martin McDonald

Mrs. Florence Lee Martin McDonald, 78, of Hargrove Lake Road, Colbert, wife of David Martin, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at PruittHealth Heritage in Athens. 

Mrs. McDonald was born in Athens on October 7, 1947, daughter of the late Guy Henry Martin and Doris Lee Maxey Martin. She attended Sonlight Baptist Church and had worked as a waitress, in sewing plants, and in a coil factory.

Surviving, in addition to her husband David, is her son, Steven Lee McDonald and his wife Shawnann of Winterville; and sister, Mary Alice Price of Royston. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael David McDonald; and sister, Eula Jane Roe.

At Florence's request, no services are planned.
